Greetings to the incredible WITS Community,

Mentoring is at the heart of Deloitte. It is embedded throughout our work and a hallmark of our corporate culture. The dedication of our people as WITS volunteers embodies this principle. I am proud to say that since 2004, Deloitte professionals have contributed 8,000 hours of mentorship and shared thousands of stories with Chicago Public Schools students. With our current school partner, Chavez Elementary, we strive to build foundational literacy skills and cultivate positive self-identity with every student we serve. Simultaneously, the students help our Deloitte professionals gain insights on learning, patience, and empathy through the relationships they form together. We believe by investing our time, talent, and financial resources in mentoring students, we are contributing to the development of the future leaders of Chicago.

Deloitte’s support and belief in WITS is our pledge to giving back in a way that is meaningful to our people and city.
