Responsibilities

  • Represent WITS at programs and events
  • Spotlight volunteer engagement and provide volunteer voice to the organization
  • Saturate WITS messaging across networks
  • Provide feedback and debriefing ideas back to WITS
  • Strengthen ties to current volunteers and help broaden the community

Commitment

  • 1-year commitment, renewable (July 2019-June 2020)
  • Attend WITS Ambassadors Orientation
  • Attend and participate in quarterly committee meetings (September, December, March,
    June)
  • Must attend at least three of the following:
    • Thank-a-Thon (February or March)
    • End of School Year Volunteer Event (May)
    • Associates Board End of Year Book Event (May)
    • Annual Meeting (June)
  • Attend optional events such as Student Program Volunteer Orientations (September),
    WITS Blackboard Affair (November), promotional events, Volunteer or Back to School Fairs, or other opportunities as needed.

WITS Virtual Thank-a-thon

Thank you for your interest in joining us for our annual WITS Thank-a-thon. WITS would not be possible without the generous support of our donors throughout the year. The WITS Thank-a-thon is an opportunity for staff and volunteers to come together for one night and make thank you calls to our most recent donors.
