This year, WITS will replace its large-scale Blackboard Affair gala with an Alice in Wonderland themed fundraiser called The UnGala. The UnGala is an opportunity for the Chicago community to come together to support Chicago students and teachers.
This challenging time in history is also our students' childhood. WITS gives students a sense of joy, encouragement, and routine amid a lot of uncertainty. WITS has become a trustworthy resource for many during this time, and our virtual programming has been viewed thousands of times by people all across the world.

Mad Hatter’s Tea Party
Join us on the evening of Thursday, December 3rd, for a virtual event celebrating the work of WITS and honoring this year’s awardees. No need for fancy attire or Ubers around the city for this event, as it will all be streamed in the comfort of your own home. By giving to The UnGala, you ensure that WITS will remain part of the Chicago education community and there for our students and schools for future generations.
